SMARTplayer

The NewTec SMARTplayer creates the wireless connection from the audio source to the NewTec SMART loudspeakers. The audio source can be fed into the SMARTplayer in analogue or digital form via the network. Any number of SMARTplayers can be operated in parallel, which in turn can control any number of loudspeakers. In addition to simple operation using the remote control supplied, the SMARTplayer also offers the option of making further settings via the NewTec app.

The audio signal is sent from the SMARTplayer to all speakers at 48 kHz and 16 bit in the 1.9 GHz band, almost latency-free and synchronised. Two optimally tuned, directly installed wireless antennas guarantee interference-free music playback and a range of 120 metres. A SMARTstreamer can be used to bridge greater distances for the audio signal if the music source is located in the server room in the basement, for example. The SMARTstreamer distributes the audio signal in the local network to one or more SMARTplayers.
